The decision was finally made to start our GameDev career. We signed up at Udemy and we are on our way. The course we are taking are from same guys that created the popular Unity course. So we are excited. You should go check it out.
Why GoDot. You can create 2D and 3D games. It runs on Linux, Mac and Windows. Our favourite will always be Linux. It is just more efficient.
Godot is not a WYSIG game creator. You will learn how to code with Godot's Gdscript. We believe you need at least some exposure to coding.
The course thus far is very interesting. You start with creating a word game. Later on, a 2D and a 3D game.

I do recall, you will be exposed to C# later on in the course.
What is exciting is that you can deploy your final game to multiple platforms. The one we will be targeting is mobile games for Android for now.
We had to choose between a paid and a open source game dev platform/engine. As you probably concluded we decided with a non pay platform. The reason is, maybe one day we can also contribute to the community and help it grow.
Exciting times. We will keep you updated.
Cheers.
PS. And yes we still do stock trading :)
